Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the combat sports. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd later went on to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were finished within the first minute. After that, she went back to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in unanimity to create an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 after signing as a player with Invicta FC. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She took her next bout in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen used her superior wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her via the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen then went on to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the 2nd. She continued to dominate and got a bigger win when she fought Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd ended Evinger in the opening round, and was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first fight she's ever had in any significant way. Ladd's victory was a unanimous victory, and the Fight of the Night award came to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd after 16 seconds which ended the streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. For a rematch, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
